The Sacred Earth Spectacular

“An adventure in healing. A celebration of life.”

Imagistic musical about our relationship to the earth.

The Sacred Earth Spectacular was one of the largest pieces of musical theatre ever created and presented in the Blue Mountains and was the free finale to the Blue Mountains ‘Songlines’ festival.

Our bodies are woven by the fabric of the elements, our psyches are built upon archetypes, around us forces unseen and beneficent fly to our aid. In trying to enter the spirit of contentedness, we invited a diverse genre of performers to collaborate and share. Musicians (The Sacred Earth Posse, The Academy Singers, Mocca string trio) joined the actors (The Theatre of Living Light), dancers (Hands, Heart & Feet, Ghawazi Caravan), circus (Candy Stripe Circus, Captain Finhead) as well as including performance art, back projection and a lantern parade.
